Benefits of Lab-Grown Diamonds

Eco Friendly

For every carat of diamond that is mined, nearly 100 sq ft of land is disturbed and almost 6000 lbs of mineral waste is created.

Ethically Sourced

All in all, mined diamonds result in 1 injury for every 1,000 workers annually, while lab-grown diamonds result in zero.

Competitively Priced

No diamond is free, but due to the shorter supply chain, lab-grown diamonds can be anywhere from 20-30% less expensive than mined diamonds.

Just Diamond. No Mining.

We developed proprietary reactor designs capable of forming plasma as hot as the sun at unprecedented density.

FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions.

Is a Lab-Grown Diamond the Same Thing as a Real Diamond?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real and are not fake diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are 100% carbon and have the exact same chemical properties as mined diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are grown by recreating the conditions underneath the Earth that result in diamond growth: pressure, heat, & carbon.

How Do You Grow a Lab-Grown Diamond?

Today, there are two methods of growing diamond gemstones: High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) & Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). Each process is best suited for certain sizes & colors of diamonds.

Can a Jeweler Tell That a Diamond is Lab-Grown?

No. Adamas One lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds of the same quality look the same, even to a trained eye. Traditional jewelers’ tools such as microscopes or loupes cannot detect the difference between a lab-grown diamond and a natural, mined diamond.

Are Man-made, Synthetic, or Lab-Grown Diamonds Real?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real and are not fake diamonds. Man-made diamonds are 100% carbon and have the exact same chemical properties as mined diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are grown by recreating the conditions underneath the Earth that result in diamond growth: pressure, heat, & carbon.
